'Having been born and bred
in Clitheroe and on Cowmans sausages, imagine my delight to
find they can now 'overnight' them down to Worcestershire. The pork and black pudding is a real taste
of home. When our Worcester friends find out when we are sending in
an order they add a couple of pounds of their favourite. Fantastic for the barbecue as there is hardly any mess and cleaning.'
John Walker-Smith, Worcester.
'Beef and tomato... that’s a different class of sausage.'
Martin Nugent, Bolton.
'Splendid, meaty sausage,
traditional flavours (Pork & Walnut
to die for) and some wacky new ones, all are of a very high quality, augmented by personal service
and hopefully a quick blether with Cliff the proprietor!'
PH, Cheshire.

'My prayers have been answered. No matter how hard they try, run
of the mill supermarkets just cannot get sausages right. I bought five different types at Cowmans and they were all fantastic, certainly worth my 500 mile round trip!'
AP, Northampton.
'The best sausages in Lancashire are from Cowman’s in Clitheroe. There’s not a bad one amongst the 70 odd varieties (I’ve tried most of them), but the best are Hot n’ Spicy and Pork and Black Pudding.'
Sam Johnson, Clitheroe.
